Mag Pouches
There are a lot of mag pouch options...
Spacing the pouches apart and allowing a correct grip on the magazines is the most important aspect of mag pouches.
Some have cut outs down the side for your index finger to correctly index your finger on the front tip of the mag.
Some allow you to angle the mags for when the mag pouches are on the front of your belt, but for 3 gun that doesn’t matter much (you really don’t want or need much angle when the mags are on your side).
If you have the Safariland ELS system, you could theoretically move mag pouches to the front of your belt, but you may want to keep them in the same place as normal, so you never end up "looking" for them on your belt.
