9mm Glock Model 34 as a 3 Gun Pistol
There's alot to love about Glocks. They are:
Some people find their appearance boring, some people don't like the angle of the grip, and its probably safe to say that NO ONE likes the factory sights. As far as the look being boring, I can't imagine caring less about something like that. I'm in a 3 Gun competition to win...I'm not there to look good losing. Anyway, another thing that is a little finicky about the Glock is the design of the butt of the handle. If the magazine is not angled perfectly when reloading quickly in a 3 Gun match it is easy to fumble it and waste precious time lining it up perfectly. This is easily fixable by spending $29 on a magwell that will give you a larger margin for error when inserting a mag during a quick reload.
Specific positives about the Glock 34 9mm is that it has very little kick and muzzle rise which makes it fairly easy to shoot double taps and quickly move from one target to another and it has a high capacity magazine (17 rounds) which means less reloading when shooting a 3 Gun match.
All in all, the Glock 34 is a very afforbale pistol and fairly cheap to upgrade the sights and turn a cheap Glock into a high performance competition 3 Gun pistol.
